Journal Gazette - Volunteer Spotlight
Susan is an exceptional volunteer who not only helps Literacy for Companionship every month but also helps her community by volunteering for other organizations. She applies her time to so many worthy causes, and we are extremely grateful for her. Susan does an amazing job helping the kids and animals at our read events, whether that's helping the children pick out the perfect book, picking out the perfect prize from our treasure chest, checking children in and out, or showing them around the shelter. She is always there to greet you with a smile on her face and to lend a helping hand.
